Living Films has experience producing documentaries in Indonesia and Bali, but none of them prepared us for this ambitious still shoot.  Palpalina's concept was to create an image of giant statues created out of stacked stereo speakers rising up above the terraced rice fields.  The speakers would be added in post... but we needed to get a high enough vantage point over the rice fields for the advertisement to work. 

Thus, not only were shots taken from the highest ground vantage, but we also rented a helicopter to shoot stills from all angles in the air.  In the end, despite some tricky logistics, we got the perfect shots for the print campaign.
