More than 50 percent of drugs sold over the internet are fake resulting in treatment failure, side effects and death.

Shot in Paris, New York, Saigon and Bangkok, Pharmacide Online describes the gruesome mechanics of online sales of counterfeit pharmaceuticals. The film follows examples of online drug purchases in three different continents all of which end tragically.

Pharmacide Online is a Public Service Announcement  to be screened internationally. 

The film was shot entirely on a Canon 5D Mark2 with Zeiss lenses and edited in Prores 4444. The results were amazingly film-like. A warehouse on the Chaopraya River in Bangkok was chosen as the location for the pill factory. The hyper-realistic feel of the scene was due to the use of authentic drug making machinery which previously had been confiscated by the Royal Thai Police.
