Natea
Innovative Ice tea studio spot - could have shot anywhere but picked Bangkok
Teaming up once again with Matthias Zentner Living films put Magnesia and Natea tea together into a two day shoot. Natea was day two of this pairing and though the crew was a bit weary from balancing two concepts at once the project came together beautifully.
Twelve meters of silk billows below the model as she hangs from wires high in the air. Wardrobe created this flowing gown from about a hundred yards of silk as a representation of swirling golden tea. It took six people to move this garment from one place to the next, but once the setup took flight the whole thing came alive. Atop a crane the Phantom HD cameras shooting at 300 frames per second bring the undulating fabric to a near stand still, and give the project a wonderful aesthetic.
