One of the first TV Commercials to shoot at the temples of Angkor Wat

This German perfume spot for Maurer + Wirtz was one (if not the) first television commercial to shot at the amazing temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia back in 1997. Living Films had to determine the permission process in Cambodia and get all permits from the local Government and the Vietnamese protectors of the temple complex.

Almost all equipment and crew were brought in From Thailand, however industrial Khmer Government generators were used for the lights.

Camera platforms were sunk into the lake in front of the temple complex and huge effort was put into the final images of candles floating in front of the famous temple at sunset.
