Matthias Zentner creates magical worlds for an Italian fashion brand

Camomilla makes fashionable accessories for women, who like to dream. Matthias Zentner was to catch these dreams in three fairytale spots, in which perspective and proportions have a life of their own. The small is suddenly big and the big becomes tiny - a great brief to show of the creativity and the craftsmanship of the Thai art and construction crew.

In just over a week the sets were built. The giant props, a shoe, a handbag and a string of pearls, had to match actual Camomilla products and be functional props at the same time: the handbag becoming a bed, the shoe a bathtub and the string of pearls a swing.

An added challenge, were the stop trick elements. Luckily we have an expert amongst our midst – the Thailand based DOP Richie Moore. In a separate corner of the studio he made the bows from the handbags fly like butterflies, cotton wool clouds grow and a yellow rubber duck paddle through a puddle.
