"With Hope and Help: Vietnam" is a positive and uplifting film about the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS throughout Vietnam.

People living with HIV and AIDS in Vietnam face immense challenges. New Western medicines are prohibitively expensive and out of the reach of the vast majority. Fear, misunderstanding and discrimination that the disease affects only drug users and sex workers. Although prevention campaigns are in full swing throughout the country, little has been done to improve the quality of life for those already living with the virus.

Despite so many challenges, many prople living with HIV and AIDS in Vietnam are continuing to lead vital, healthy and meaningful lives. With the goal of spreading a message of hope to their peers and encouraging support within society, these Vietnamese people courageously share their inspiring stories.
