The Living Films team is a nice mix of Western and Thai film professionals who have found our niche in high quality production services in Asia. Our entire team is bi-lingual (or tri-lingual in many cases,) and we complement each other with a strong combination of organizational know-how and creativity.
While building our reputation as an honest, family style production house, we have gained huge experience in the nuts and bolts of filmmaking in Thailand and South East Asia.
From budgeting to shooting to post production, we bring enthusiasm and experience to the table. We are open to any size or type of project and we are happy to give advice on shooting in Thailand, feasibility, budget and approach.

Originally, I was a TV-journalist based in Germany but always wanting to live in Asia. I had produced hundreds of news and magazine stories for several German TV and radio channels. In February 1989, I finally moved permanently to Thailand as a Southeast Asia correspondent for a German TV agency. I ended up writing for German magazines and newspapers, producing television pieces from around the Asian region and getting involved in film productions for German TV. All the while I was also gaining invaluable experience as a film and video editor.
Eventually, I started my own company in Bangkok working as a line producer for TV commercials, directing and editing corporate videos and making humanitarian films while also continuing to produce and edit news and documentaries for German TV.
In 1999 I joined Living Films running the post production arm. What has impressed me most about Living Films is the atmosphere and the true friendship I've gained with my partners. We have a unique thing going here and I am glad to be part of it. Somehow I feel that after all these years we are still just at the beginning. I am looking forward to a great future and many more exciting projects.
