Hi, I'm Fred Turchetti. I'm Italian but I was born in South Africa and grew up in England. I have been producing commercials all over the world for 25 years and I came to shoot the first time in Thailand in 1986. At that time the industry was a couple of tungsten lamps and someone to switch them on. Since then the industry has grown to a level that most outsiders would find it hard to believe : multi-million dollar studio complexes, live action special effects second to none, cutting edge equipment you'd be lucky to find elsewhere etc. But what has brought me back time after time with commercials such as Illy and Levissima is the heart. The heart is a vital piece of equipment that you cannot rent in Prague or in Cape Town or Buenos Aires: and heart is what Living Films and the Thai crew give you. Anyone who has shot here is touched by this unique fact which will transform your project or film into an amazing experience.

So in the end, after so much work together, I joined the team at Living Films, with the specific task of promoting this very little-known goldmine of filming opportunity in the rest of the world with focus on Europe. The greatest challenge being to inform the international filming community that the opportunities in Thailand are much, much bigger than its beach or jungle locations, and that also these opportunities are incredibly competitive from a financial point of view.
