Accounting

Living Films is experienced with international/ American style feature film accounting. We speak the language of movie magic budgets/ cost projections/ cost reports. Our production crew members are all familiar with our regular system of accounting checks and balances. There is a standard paper trail for everything, signed off on by the dept. head/ producer/ prod. manager within the appropriate hierarchy designated for a given particular production. For small expenses, designated crew get cash floats and in return submit petty cash envelopes for approval.

For bigger item costs (above a pre-determined level,) crew will have to submit purchase orders for pre-approval of spending. Our production management team works with the accounting department to create and review weekly cost reports. We do not believe in ‘lump sum' deals, which are quite common in Asia... we much prefer open international style accounting with transparency and a built-in system of checks and balances.
