Visual Effects

Many of the feature films we have been involved with have brought visual effects supervisors in for the shoot in Thailand though there are VFX supervisors available here as well. If the VFX supervisor comes from overseas we have found it wise in the past to provide him with a Thai assistant.

There are a large selection of green and blue screens available in Thailand. And there are several studios with large green screen and cyclorama walls.

In terms of VFX post production work, Thailand is slowly amassing much more VFX talent than before... and is starting to compete with India on a smaller scale. We encourage overseas productions to check out what VFX talent Thailand has to offer before sourcing it at much higher cost elsewhere. Not only that, but there are also two labs where you can now get a professional DI scanned at a very reasonable cost.
