There are several experienced prosthetics artists in Thailand and at least two of them have their own workshops. For the highest level of international prosthetics work we may try to source overseas though. But for most feature film requirements we can create what we need in country. The cost of locally produced and applied prosthetics makeup is far lower than its overseas counterpart.

Stylistically it is important to avoid the style of many Asian horror or ghost genre films that tend to use over-the-top prosthetic effects instead of a more realistic approach. With more and more international productions using local prosthetic artists, the realistic quality of is improving all the time.
