Feature Film Shooting Logistics
National Parks
Shooting in National Parks in Thailand is allowed, however permissions must be submitted once the production has already received its Thai Film Permit. For most feature films, permission to shoot in the National Parks can take over a month and it's advisable to start the process early.
There are 48 national parks in Thailand (including marine national parks). There you will find most of the remaining indigenous forest and jungle. Although filming can be a bit more restrictive (no pyrotechnics allowed/ no outside animals/ etc.) it is still well worth the effort for the natural production value available in the Thai National Parks.
