Cranes
There's lots of options for both camera and lighting cranes in Thailand. Panther equipment is quite popular here... Pegasus, Foxy cranes... also there are all types of GF cranes, new telescoping cranes and one company even has an extreme crane now (31 meters/ 100 feet.) In Bangkok there are half a dozen different equipment companies offering different sets of solutions for camera crane work.
For lighting cranes, it depends where the location is... for example, in Bangkok and Chiang Mai there are different options available for lighting cranes. Several years ago, when we shot two Sony Columbia-Tri Star pictures in Chiang Mai, we scored fire engines as our lighting cranes. Just about any other location in Thailand will also have some viable options for lighting cranes, as there are rigging cranes (25 ton/ 45 ton,) cherry pickers, scissor lifts, etc.
