"The Big Blackout: Debunking the Myths of Power Privatisation" is the title of a this video documentary produced by the Transnational Institute. Daniel Chavez and Indian filmmaker Satya Sivaraman give a global perspective on power reforms from India to Colombia and Brazil to South Africa.

There is of empirical evidence on the negative impact of privatization and deregulation on consumers, workers and society as a whole. This film suggests ways to create democratic and sustainable alternatives.

Living Films oversaw all post production of this 27-minute film including narration, sound mix and color correction. All editing and post work was done in the extremely short timeframe of only 10 days.
