United Nations funded film about migrant workers in Laos
Back to Text"Better Safe than Sorry" is a UNDP commissioned video project shot in Laos. The target audience was migration workers from China, Vietnam and from within Laos. Living Films worked closely with the workers who openly talked about their hardships, loneliness and relationships with sex workers.
The aim of the film was to raise awareness about the vulnerability of Migrant workers in Laos. Living Films produced and edited versions for each target group in Lao, Chinese and Vietnamese.
