Gaetano's career began in 2001 when, having just graduated in Media Arts from the University of Siena, he won a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to attend a two year "Master in Film Directing" at the Los Angeles Film School. His American short films won several international prizes and brought him to the attention of commercial producers from around the world.
In a few years, Gaetano's talent for comedy and storytelling combined with his ability to expand creative ideas through directing, gained him many international prizes: a Cannes Lion and several appearances on Shots.
He has directed for agencies such as JWT, BBDO, TBWA, Grey, Armando Testa, United 1861, Publicis and clients like Vodafone, Kraft, Hall's, Remington, Kitkat, Whiskas, and Unicredit.
Gaetano considers storytelling as an artform that can develop through different media languages and believes that a director can convey his unique style using many of them. That's why, besides his activity as a Director for traditional commercials, his career develops through virals, television and cinema with the same high standard.
